This article covers when and where to find your exam results, how to understand them, and what to do next.
1When Will I Receive My Results?▼
Results are typically issued within 14 days of completing your exam. Turnaround time may vary depending on the volume of exams being taken.
Your results will be sent to the email address you entered on the exam when you sat.
You can also check your results on your APSCA profile under the Invoices tab. Please note it can take 2–3 business days after your email results are sent for your APSCA profile to be updated.
Important: Exam results will not be released until your exam invoice has been paid.
If your results are delayed, please check the following before contacting APSCA:
- Check your junk/spam folder for the results email.
- If your firm is paying, confirm with them that payment has been made.
2Understanding Your Results Report▼
Your results report shows your overall performance and includes feedback from the interviewer on your strengths and areas for improvement. The score required to pass is 75%.
For a detailed guide on how to read your results report — including how scoring works, what the interviewer feedback means, and how to use your areas of opportunity and strength — see the full guide:
Understanding Part III Exam Results — Full Guide (T-045)Includes worked examples, scoring explanations, and a breakdown of all categories mapped to the APSCA Competency Framework.
3What Happens Next▼
If You Passed ✓
Congratulations! You have achieved CSCA level. Your certification will be reflected in your APSCA profile once processing is complete. We encourage you to use the feedback in your results report to continue developing your skills as part of your Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
If You Did Not Pass
Here's how to prepare for your next attempt:
1. Review your results report carefully, paying close attention to your areas of opportunity.
2. Work with your Member Firm's training team to focus your study on those areas.
3. Use the Understanding Part III Exam Results — Full Guide (T-045) to identify the specific competency categories to focus on.
Note: If this is your 3rd attempt or more, additional requirements apply before you can rebook:
- 3rd–5th attempt: You must wait 30 days and submit evidence of additional training.
- 6th attempt or more: You must wait 30 days and submit an audit log showing a minimum of 20 audit days.
In both cases, your documentation must be approved by APSCA before you can schedule your next exam. See the Multiple Attempts Policy (D-205) and Guidance on Multiple Attempts (T-074) for full details.
When you're ready to book, you can generate your invoice in your APSCA online account or ask your firm to do so if they are paying on your behalf.
▸ Not satisfied with your result? Request an Independent Review
If you feel your result does not accurately reflect your performance, you can request an Independent Review for a fee (see Schedule of Fees). An independent reviewer will watch the recording of your exam and rescore it against the same criteria.
To request an Independent Review:
1. Contact the Exam team at exam@theapsca.org to request a review, and let us know whether you or your firm will be paying the fee.
2. The Exam team will send you an invoice for the review fee.
3. Once payment is received, the independent review will take place.
4. You will be notified of the outcome and advised if there is any change to your score.
